November 2018 Customer Photo Winner

Does anyone else have a little girl that you are in total envy of this nursery?! I mean this is simply gorgeous! Megan took our Unicorn Horn Two Color Wall Quotes™ Wall Art Decal to the next level and I know her little one will love it for so many years to come.

She got the 22" tall x 24" wide decal in Black with a Gold Horn. Since our decals don't have any background (not even clear), she was able to cut apart the eyelashes and arrange them how she needed to fit the flowers in. And those flowers are just so beautiful! I'm going to have to find out where she got those.

Hot Off The Press: 10-17-2014

Know what I love about Disney's Frozen?  It's an inter-generational kind of movie. Do you know what I mean?  Our family saw it in the theatre and loved it.  My boys thought Olaf was the funniest. thing. ever.  But even my husband and I thought it was wonderful.  Of course, now that we've watched it 3 billion four hundred seventy three million eight hundred ninety one thousand five hundred twenty six times, the magic may or may not be wearing off a little. Fine, maybe that was a wee bit of an exaggeration, but if your house is like mine, we've seen it a few times.

Regardless.  A few weeks ago we were asked to put together a collection of vinyl wall decals inspired by the movie, the characters, the themes.  We had so much fun!  And we might have watched the movie - with snacks - a few times for inspiration (grin).  Plus, creating snowflakes and winter designs was lovely wishful thinking in the blistering Vegas heat.

November Customer Photo Winner

Bonnie submitted this fantastic photo and when we posted it to our Facebook page we immediately had people asking us where they could buy the design.  Bonnie created the lettering in our Custom Lettering Tool and when we asked her where she found the castle she said she painted it using a projector.

Well, for all of us that are artistically challenged (or don't want to take the time to paint hundreds of stars) we've created a design inspired by Bonnie's photo.  It's in our Girls Collection (#5).

Melanie commissioned this custom design for her new little girl. She had an idea of flowing rose vines and sweet scripty text. After a few back and forths tweaking the design to be sure it was just right - this was the end result.
(I think we really hit the nail on the head with this one)

Wall Quote Redesign

Remember this post about redesigning/customizing one of the wall quotes from our current collections? It's totally possible. In that case, we did the customizing (with plenty of feedback and review) but I'd like to show you another redesign submitted directly by a customer.

Our girls wall quotes collection is full of fun and funky designs for girls of all ages. This one - design #22 - is a particularly popular design. We love the collection of fun, powerful, full-of-character statements and the smattering of different font styles that really bring it to life.

We've seen it used in all kinds of settings - from nurseries and toddler and teen girl rooms to grown-up girl home offices and craft rooms, it shines everywhere (part of the reason it's also cross-listed in the inspirational wall quotes collection).

Recently, one very creative customer loved the quote but wanted to know about customizing the fonts and style to fit her slightly more polished decor. We thought it was a fantastic idea - custom projects really are our favorite jobs and we love to help you personalize our products to fit your style and personality.

Though we're (of course) happy to work with you on customization, as it turns out, this gal had the skills herself to make it happen exactly as she'd envisioned, took her design concept to the next level and submitted the vector artwork directly to us (fabulous idea, by the way). Voila:

Because she had already created the art, it was a cinch to make. She chose a nice big size for her space: 30" tall x 40" wide and decided on Latte and Persimmon for colors. The finished product came together beautifully.

What a great accent for this space, no? So if you have the skills to create your own design concept, by all means - send it on over. We've got the skills to make it into a real piece of art to add personality and class to your space.
