October Customer Photo Winner

If you've ordered from us recently, you've received a lovely little card in the package with a bit of info about our monthly customer photo giveaways. We'll be drawing a winner every month from all of the customer photos submitted that month.

"And what do we win?" you ask. "$50" we reply. Well, $50 to spend with us, anyway.

This photo, submitted by Jennifer, is October's winner. You can find this lovely quote in our Love II collection. It's a great focal point for her family photo wall, no? Congrats Jennifer!

My Oh My

Joy at Joys of Home hosted a giveaway for us this last week (which was very exciting). She posted the winners today along with an excellent new way to use our vinyl headboards. Because these are essentially oversized monogram or wall art designs, they really could be used in any number of ways.

Joy's project is phenomenally awesome. All we can say is W.O.W.

Holiday Baking Just Got (a little) Easier

And boy do I have a great idea for you.

Honestly, I've been meaning to post this idea for months.
(months, I tell you)

However, now seems the perfect time. You've got family coming for the holidays, friends to entertain, parties to plan, dinners to make, cheese platters to prep and for sure - newcomers in your kitchen.

A fancy/functional label collection is just the thing to streamline your cooking/baking/grilling/stuffing/poaching routine.

These particular labels grace my not-so-elegant kitchen containers. They're cute and functional (but don't do a thing to keep out toddlers, mind you). I'm working on a few other designs to run the spectrum between no-nonsense and french-chef-flair.

Or better yet, find uber-cool apothecary jars (thrift stores and etsy are good sources) and add one of our labels (in any awesome color) and tada - super chic, super fast, super cheap. Gotta love that.

Jamie's Idea

Jamie left a comment on yesterday's post with an idea. She has a drinking fountain in her home and she'd like to add the verse "Whosoever drinketh of the water I shall give him shall never thirst" above it.

Isn't that a fabulous idea? It got my creative juices flowing (yes, pun intended, ha!); here are a few design options so far.
